Rexam’s First to Use Editions Super Premium Technology
Rexam, the leading beverage can manufacturer in South America, has recently launched two new cans into the market with Brasil Kirin. The new can for Brasil Kirin’s Eisenbahn beer is the first can to use Rexam’s Editions Super Premium technology. Rexam’s Editions technology enables the production of up to 24 different label artworks per pallet at the same time.
18 Dec 2013 --- The Editions Super Premium technology goes one step further in complexity, allowing the print of highly detailed images by using several colour shades and gradients. A soft touch varnish further enhances the product, giving it a soft feel while making it appear cold on supermarket shelves. Produced by Rexam’s Jacareí plant in Brazil, the 16oz can includes six different labels showing important people and events from the beer’s history.

Additionally, Rexam supported Brasil Kirin’s aim to differentiate their range of ECCO! energy drinks. The 9oz cans, also produced at Rexam’s Jacareí plant, showcase HD printing with UV white and red lumiset inks, allowing the can to glow in the dark. This innovation not only stands out on the shelf, but also in nightclubs where the drink is consumed most. ECCO! is available in original, sugar free, cranberry, citrus, strawberry and tangerine flavours. The energy drink is currently sold in the Brazilian states of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Federal District, Goiás, Bahia and Sergipe.
