Quantum Food Design opens licensing talks for OTTIS
Receives the Glycemic Research Institute's (GRI) coveted Low Glycemic and Diabetic Friendly Seals of Approval for use on OTTIS(TM) Ice Cream's food labels and in marketing.
28/09/05 Quantum Food Design (QFD), a leading carbohydrate engineering and advanced food technology company, is pleased to announce that its all-natural, low glycemic, thermogenic, nutritionally fortified, super-premium ice-cream, OTTIS(TM) is now available for licensure by a major ice cream company.
QFD recently received the Glycemic Research Institute's (GRI) coveted Low Glycemic and Diabetic Friendly Seals of Approval for use on OTTIS(TM) Ice Cream's food labels and in marketing; passing all of the clinical and scientific criteria required for foods looking for this designation. During the clinical human trials there was no evidence that OTTIS(TM) Ice Cream used any fat-storage mechanism, nor were there any reports of gastrointestinal distress. The GRI's clinical assessment stated that all subjects in the study reported "excellent flavor and texture" for the Test Food. "In both diabetics and non-diabetics, the OTTIS(TM) Ice Cream performed as a very low glycemic food (21 GI) with a low glycemic load (1.8 GL). Though OTTIS(TM) Ice Cream is a super-premium ice cream, it does not act like regular fattening ice cream, it does not stimulate adipose tissue fat-storage," announced the Glycemic Research Institute in its recent press release.
OTTIS(TM) can boast all of these attributes due to its sole sugar sweetener, Beyond*Sugar(TM) (A revolutionary all-natural, low calorie, low glycemic, thermogenic, nutritionally fortified, fully-functional sugar sweetener, developed and produced by Quantum Food Design.), which was unveiled earlier this month at the Annual World Obesity and Weight Loss Congress.
