Plasticum Launched Another Valve Closure: MD Food 48-38/400
The closure lid can be opened easily with just one hand. It has a smooth and glossy surface, whereas the body part features a ribbed surface.
31 Oct 2009 --- Plasticum is marketing a new standard flip-top closure with a diameter of 48 mm. The product incorporates a silicon valve to optimise the control during dispensing. The closure is suitable for food applications, also when the bottles are stored top-down.
The closure is fitted with the MaxiDose technology, a patented valve technique developed by Plasticum. The silicon valve includes a crossed slit to provide a dispensing orifice. It opens gradually whilst squeezing the bottle and offers a fully controlled and clean dispensing. This valve solution suits many different viscosities and bottle geometries.
The closure lid can be opened easily with just one hand. It has a smooth and glossy surface, whereas the body part features a ribbed surface. The product can also be supplied with non valve orifices, such as a 10 mm opening and a star opening. All kinds of sauces and dressings can be dispensed cleanly, from mustard to ketchup and mayonnaise.
European well-known brands and Private Labels changed over to this valve solution. Plasticum’s standard closures array now contains a 40 mm, 42 mm, 48 mm, 55 mm and oval version, suitable for Food and Personal care applications. And new designs are still being developed.
