PAVA to Participate in Russia & CIS Investment Summit 2010 in Hong Kong

The Summit serves as a platform for the presentation of investment projects. It also enables negotiations with potential investors and exchange of experience between companies with similar area of business.

Sep 13 2010 --- The event of the utmost importance for Russian businessmen and CIS corporations Russia & CIS Investment Summit 2010 is to take place in Hong Kong on 15 and 16 of September. Being one of largest grain processors in Russia PAVA has long declared its interest in international markets and has repeatedly realized its ambitions in practice. PAVA is one of the members of the upcoming event.

Apart from Russia and CIS participants, the Summit will be hosting more than 100 Asia’s investment funds. The Summit serves as a platform for the presentation of investment projects. It also enables negotiations with potential investors and exchange of experience between companies with similar area of business.

"We’re interested in Asia’s markets for a number of reasons. First of all, we may meet future investors in the region. During our stay in Hong Kong we intend to hold meetings with the representatives of National Sovereign Funds, Private Equity Funds as well as corporate investors. Secondly, we believe that this region may become a product distribution area", – explains Head of IR and International Business Development Department Galina Balaenkova.

It is worth noting that the interest in cooperation is mutual. Russian companies are seeking to cooperate with Asia’s financial markets in order to raise capital and to diversify their investor base whereas Russia with its ample resources, developing infrastructure and huge consumer market offers attractive opportunities for investors.
