"Paquito" now avaialable in premium format
Juice manufacturer Antartic has changed the packaging for its fruity product range from the gable-top pack to the aseptic carton combiblocPremium (1,000 ml) with combiTwist screw cap.
The "Paquito" premium juices are now conquering the French market with a new look. Juice manufacturer Antartic has changed the packaging for its fruity product range from the gable-top pack to the aseptic carton combiblocPremium (1,000 ml) with combiTwist screw cap. A perfect French debut for the practical packaging solution by SIG Combibloc.
The changeover was preceded by intensive market research studies in which consumers gave better results to the 1,000 ml combiblocPremium carton compared to the gable-top pack. Another key reason for Antartic's decision to change over to the modern SIG Combibloc packaging system was its long partnership with SIG Combibloc and the three combibloc filling machines that have already been in operation for several years. Thus, for the first time in France, the flavours orange, apple, grapefruit, grape and pineapple are now available in combiblocPremium.
Antartic belongs to the supermarket chain Intermarché. Intermarché has 4,000 sales locations throughout Europe and currently employs about 112,000 people. It records an annual turnover of some 38.4 billion euros. Apart from the supermarkets, Intermarché also owns more than 40 plants for the production of fruit juices, milk, water, ice cream, frozen and fresh ready to eat meals, fish, meat products and canned goods.
One of these plants is Antartic. Each year it produces 270 million litres, out of which 80 million litres are juice. Antartic also fills cereal products in addition to fruit juices.
