Newman Launches S150 Automatic Labelling System

6 Jul 2012 --- Newman Labelling Systems, a leading supplier of specialist pharmaceutical labelling systems, has launched the S150 fully automatic labelling system, with highly accurate label placement at outputs up to 150 c.p.m.
A development of the very popular NV2 model, the S150 is designed for maximum versatility, offering the capability to apply paper and clear self-adhesive labels to a wide range of products; these include cylindrical, rectangular or square containers from 10mm dia. to 150mm dia. in glass, plastic, metal or composite materials. The system requires virtually no change parts, making it both easy and efficient to use.
The S150 labelling system is cGMP designed to incorporate a self teach system for label length and a straight label arm, adjustable in all axes. It comes with full variable speed drives, hand wheel adjustment and is manufactured from stainless steel for durability and longevity. The user interface uses a Siemens colour touch screen display with password access. Numerous optional configurations are available to suit customer needs.
As with all Newman Labelling Systems, the S150 is compatible with the leading Vision System equipment to accommodate the latest Track & Trace application
It has many optional extras to suit budget and specification, including choice of printing systems, missing overprint and label detectors, bar code reading systems and rotary infeed and outfeed tables.
