New Look for Gaymer's Olde English Cider
The new look for Olde English has been designed to “achieve a contemporary feel to deliver a strong impact on shelf and attract new consumers whilst maintaining the traditional values and heritage of the brand.
11/03/08 The company plans to put £1.2m behind the brand throughout 2008 in a raft of activities. John Mills, managing director of Gaymer Cider Company, said: “Olde English continues to show strong value growth across all key cider regions, including the Central region, which is the biggest cider consuming area in the UK.
“It is important to commit more support to exploit the opportunity that exists for Olde English, and we have planned an exciting and strong campaign throughout 2008,” he said.
The new look for Olde English has been designed to “achieve a contemporary feel to deliver a strong impact on shelf and attract new consumers whilst maintaining the traditional values and heritage of the brand.”
Mills said: “Olde English is a long established brand of great heritage. It enjoys a reputation that places it above other mainstream amber ciders. The work we have done now reflects the position Olde English has in the category and the quality of the liquid whilst retaining the traditional values of the brand.”
The new pack design will be in distribution from the end of March.
