Naturex H1 Revenues Up 13%
Broken down by market, Nutrition & Health represented 65.0% of Naturex’s half-yearly revenues, compared to 29.1% for Food & Beverage and 1.2% for the Group’s Personal Care business.
22 Jul 2009 Naturex has posted revenues of €54.4 million for the first half of 2009, up 13.0% on the first six months of 2008 (+3.7% in constant dollars), thereby confirming the Group’s ability to continue to turn out quarter-on-quarter growth despite a difficult economic climate and a high basis for comparison (+ 11.7% for the first half of 2008 like for like).
Broken down by geographical region, North America led the way, generating 60.2% of Group sales over the period. The European Union accounted for 31.1% of total Group sales, with activity in Asia, where the Group continues to reinforce its sales network, notching up 2.7%.

In a recent statement, Jacques Dikansky, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said that “above and beyond the quarterly changes in activity, our Group is able to draw upon what remains a highly favorable underlying trend linked to the growing demand for natural products. Moreover, we also have a number of sources for further growth in various geographical regions and market segments. Mid-year, we are confident that we will achieve the targets set for 2009. The new expected increase in our operating margin should be clearly reflected in our half-yearly results”.
