Knutzen to Succeed Gress as Jungbunzlauer Group CEO

Feb 1 2012 --- Jungbunzlauer Chairman Alexander Kahane announced that Dr. Hans-Jörg Gress will retire as Jungbunzlauer CEO at the end of March 2012 and that the Board has appointed Tom Knutzen as new CEO, starting on April 2, 2012.
Mr. Kahane stated that Dr. Gress's retirement had been an upcoming issue for some time and that Tom Knutzen joining Jungbunzlauer had been a compelling opportunity.
Tom Knutzen is 49 years old, has a great track record of leadership and achievement and, having been CEO of Danisco until it was bought by Du Pont in 2011, is perfectly at home in the world of Jungbunzlauer's products and clients.
Mr. Kahane paid tribute to Hans-Jörg Gress by acknowledging that ..... "under his watch, Jungbunzlauer has grown and flourished into an even stronger, more profitable and focused group" and that "all of us at Jungbunzlauer owe Dr. Gress, who will remain as consultant to the group, gratitude and respect for his achievements".
Mr. Kahane welcomed Tom Knutzen by declaring that "we are all eagerly looking forward to Tom Knutzen leading Jungbunzlauer into the next phases of its development".
