iTQi announces new strategic partnership with the “Association de la Sommellerie Internationale”

15/03/05 Belgium, The International Taste & Quality Institute, iTQi, has announced its strategic partnership with ASI, the Association de la Sommellerie Internationale.
The agreement enables selected ASI members to actively participate in iTQi’s annual juries.
ASI, which covers 40 national sommeliers associations totalling 50.000 members, has a mission to educate, organize and promote the sommelier profession worldwide.
Sommeliers are experts in tasting wines, spirits, beers, waters, softdrinks, as well as teas, coffees and other hot drinks.
International Taste & Quality Institute (iTQi) is an independent judging organization dedicated to testing and rewarding superior-tasting food and beverage products. Juries are composed of top Chefs and Sommeliers chosen in partnership with major European culinary institutions. Products are submitted by mid-April 2005 for tests in May and June. The awards granted are used by producers to promote theirs products.
