Irish Dairy Board Appoints Michael Harte as Meadow Cheese MD
As part of an on-going focus on growth in the UK, The Irish Dairy Board (IDB) has made some key appointments in the UK at its Dairy Trading & Ingredients Division.
31 Jan 2013 --- Michael Harte has been promoted to Managing Director of Meadow Cheese Co. Michael has worked as Commercial Director at Meadow Cheese for the past six years. He has held other key roles in the food industry from within commercial, purchasing and supply chain.
On his appointment Michael commented: “Through investment in equipment, development and people, Meadow Cheese has moved from being a processor of cheese to an expert ingredients manufacturer, operating a comprehensive processing division based on innovation and quality. I am looking forward to guiding the company in the future, forging close working relationships with customers to continue the growth that Meadow Cheese has experienced over the recent years”
Eoin O’Callaghan shall join Meadow Cheese as Commercial Director from 4th March. Eoin joins from the IDB where he has been for the last eight years. Eoin brings a wealth of industry experience to the team, having held various key positions with the IDB from within Supply Chain, Technical, Technical Sales and Cheese Grading.
Meadow Cheese is dedicated to the manufacture of dairy ingredients to food product manufacturers in the UK and worldwide, working closely with customers to supply functional bespoke cheese and dairy ingredients. Based in Ledbury, Herefordshire employing circa 100 people Meadow Cheese is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Irish Dairy Board.
