Ingredion Taps Into Growing Demand for Stevia in Europe

Enliten sweeteners can help manufacturers make low-sugar and reduced-calorie claims in a wide range of foods, reducing the sugar content by up to 30 per cent in fruit preparations and up to 80 per cent in sauces and ketchups. Enliten sweeteners also support a ‘sweetness from a natural source’ positioning in these products.

Through its partnership with Morita, a known pioneer in the development of stevia varieties, Ingredion has complete control of the supply chain - from field to production of the final product, offering manufacturers the assurance of a reliable supply.

Naturally-derived from the rebaudiana bertoni plant, Enliten high-intensity sweeteners use the sweetest and least bitter part of the stevia plant to deliver superior consistency and taste. The sweeteners offer a clean taste profile, thanks to the high Rebaudioside A content. The product is available in two concentrations: Enliten 300000 at 95 per cent or Enliten 300100 at 97 per cent.
