To back up its commitment to thickness, Hunt's is encouraging consumers to "taste and believe" in its new ketchup by offering an unprecedented "taste guarantee" throughout the summer. Certificates for the guarantee are available at grocery stores nationwide starting this week and in local Sunday newspapers on June 26.

Consumers will get a chance to see just how thick Hunt's new ketchup is in a new ad campaign that appears in newspapers and on TV nationwide beginning today. In the TV spots, the ketchup shown not dripping when put in a strainer is revealed to be Hunt's, and ketchup-lovers are encouraged to "Pour it on Thick." This effort is complemented by print advertising, which first appears in select national print media today and reaches out across the country June 26 with a full-page national FSI that includes a mail-in taste guarantee certificate.
