Hillshire Farm Adds New Flavor to Popular Smoked Sausage and Lit'l Smokies Cocktail Links

04/10/07 Hillshire Farm is introducing new flavors to the popular Smoked Sausage and Lit'l Smokies Cocktail Links line of products. Hillshire Farm Honey BBQ Smoked Sausage and Hillshire Farm Chipotle Hot Lit'l Smokies Cocktail Links are currently available at retail in time to add flavor and taste to any tailgating or at- home football party menu.

The new Hillshire Farm Honey BBQ Smoked Sausage is smoked for a savory, hearty flavor and is available in bun size for a quick and easy meal option. This new flavor provides a sweet barbeque taste to the popular Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage link and joins current flavors including Cheddarwurst, Beef Hot Link, Hot Link, Polska Kielbasa, Smoked Bratwurst, and Beef Smoked Sausage.

"Consumer insights have shown us that honey barbeque is a flavor that has become increasingly popular," said Tim Roush, vice president, Hillshire Farm. "We wanted to combine both of those delicious flavors with the quality of our Smoked Sausage line to provide consumers with a sweet barbeque kick that will satisfy any of our favorite meat-loving consumers who are already enjoying the taste and convenience of our smoked sausage line."

In addition to the new Smoked Sausage flavor, consumers will find one more flavor addition within the popular line of Hillshire Farm Lit'l Smokies Cocktail Links: Chipotle Hot flavor. This newest flavor provides yet another addition to a product line that includes Lit'l Smokies, Lit'l Cheddar Smokies, Lit'l Beef Smokies, and Lit'l Polskas.
