Heartland Sweeteners Launches Fresh Look for Sugar Substitute Ideal
Heartland Sweeteners wanted to ensure Ideal was not confused with other sweeteners packaged in green that use stevia.
Aug 4 2010 --- Heartland Sweeteners’ xylitol-based Ideal No Calorie Sweetener has always stood apart from other sugar substitutes and artificial sweeteners on the market, and now the company is rolling out new packaging that reflects its distinction. Beginning this month, all Ideal products will sport a fresh look including the color purple and new tagline.
“Best Taste + Better Health” is the new tagline for Ideal No Calorie Sweetener. The phrase grows out of Ideal’s great taste and the health benefits of xylitol and the Ideal product.
“People choose Ideal for a variety of reasons including taste, lower calorie intake, less sugar for their diet and other health-related reasons,” said Mike Servie, president of Heartland Sweeteners.
In addition to the new tagline, Ideal’s predominantly green packaging brightened significantly with the inclusion of a new color: purple. Heartland Sweeteners wanted to ensure Ideal was not confused with other sweeteners packaged in green that use stevia. Ideal is made primarily with xylitol along with a small amount of sucralose.
Because xylitol is a fairly new term to many people, Ideal packages now have a quick and simple explanation of xylitol and some of its benefits.
The new look and tagline are being incorporated to Ideal’s latest product offerings as well. Those include Ideal Confectionery, the world’s first and only sugar free low-calorie powdered sweetener made with xylitol, and Ideal Brown, which is sugar free, measures cup for cup like brown sugar and is perfect for baking. The two products were launched earlier this year.
