Healthyroads introduces line of healthy snack bars
The nutrition bars serve as healthy alternatives to high-fat, high-sugar candy bars and snacks.
30/09/05 San Diego-based Healthyroads, Inc., recently unveiled a line of healthy snack bars that serve as a nutritious alternative to candy bars, cookies, and other snacks.
With a growing obesity epidemic and rising health care costs, employers seeking to help their employees make healthier nutrition choices can stock their worksite vending machines with healthy snacks, such as the Healthyroads snack bars, instead of snack foods that are high in sugar, trans-fat, and cholesterol.
Healthyroads snack bars contain no artificial sweeteners, preservatives, or colors. Each snack bar is 100-percent certified organic and is cholesterol- and transfat-free.
When compared with a leading chocolate, peanut, and caramel candy bar, Healthyroads snack bars contain fewer calories, less sodium and saturated fat and are lower in carbohydrates and sugars. Each Healthyroads snack bar contains between 3 and 6 grams of protein per each 1.4-ounce serving.
Healthyroads snack bars are available in four flavors: almond raisin, apple cinnamon, peanut, and cranberry crunch.
