GPC to launch corn bran dietary fibre product

23/05/06 Grain Processing Corporation (GPC) will introduce new TruBran corn bran at the 2006 IFT Food Expo in Orlando. This new dietary fibre product will be showcased in two bakery applications. Visitors to GPC's booth will learn how you earn a “good or excellent source of dietary fibre” claim on your nutritional labels while maintaining the texture and flavor normally associated with indulgent foods. Also featured at the company’s booth will be meat and sauce prototypes which highlight GPC’s Inscosity and Pure-Gel stabilized starches and their respective moisture-managing characteristics.
