Froid Introduces a Line of Organic Ready-to-drink Coffee Beverages
Froid has caught the attention of many distributors, and retailers who are looking to take advantage of the growing popularity of organic products in the national marketplace.
21/07/06 Froid, LLC recently launched a line of organic ready-to-drink (RTD) coffee beverages at the All Things Organic Trade Show and Expo in Chicago, Illinois in May, 2006, and more recently had it’s west coast premiere at the Annual Natural Products Convention & Trade Show July 14th -16th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Being the only organic bottled RTD coffee beverage on the market today, Froid has caught the attention of many distributors, and retailers who are looking to take advantage of the growing popularity of organic products in the national marketplace. This comes as no shock since U.S. organic food sales totaled nearly $14 billion in 2005, representing 2.5 percent of all retail sales of food, according to the Organic Trade Association's (OTA's) 2006 Manufacturer Survey. Organic foods' share of total food sales is up from 1.9 percent in 2003. According to survey results, sales of organic foods are expected to reach nearly $16 billion by the end of 2006.
With such an array of beverages out there for consumers to choose from, Froid strives not only be good for you, but to have a great flavor, as well. BevNET.com, a beverage-oriented media company and publishers of “Beverage Spectrum” magazine, known for being an authority on the beverage industry, states in their recent review in June 2006, that Froid is “Overall, a very well done product that seemingly has it all.” BevNet went on to give Froid a four star rating for it’s Original coffee flavor, and a rare four and a half star rating for its French Vanilla coffee.
Froid’s motto; “Formulated by Nature, Made by Mother Earth,” encompasses Froid’s down to earth approach to the beverage industry. Froid’s is to goal to get the consumer more involved with the product. “We want our consumers to have an opinion on everything from the color of the label to flavor creation.” says Froid Founder and President, Ben Shojaee.
