Faerch Plast Changes Logo

The focus of creating the new logo and new visual identity was Faerch Plast’s fundamental values: Reliability, quality and responsibility, in everything we do.

Feb 10 2012 --- Faerch Plast has changed its logo. The new logo has an international look whilst still having some continuity with the previous logo.

The focus of creating the new logo and new visual identity was Faerch Plast’s fundamental values: Reliability, quality and responsibility, in everything we do.
 
The continuity with the previous logo is represented by the colours we have used throughout our history albeit toned down slightly.  At the same time, we have ensured that our new visual expression has a more harmonious design and much fresher look.
 
We are an international company with production facilities and sales offices in several European countries. Consequently, it is important to us that our name and logo is readable by everyone. One example is the letter Æ, which is only used in the Danish alphabet and which can therefore be difficult for most Europeans to read.

That is why we have decided to split the Danish letter Æ up into the more internationally readable 'A E'.

The shape produced by ‘A E' has been the primary inspiration for the green leaf in the logo.  In addition, the design of the green leaf is clearly inspired by and alludes to Faerch’s products and culture.

The change of logo and visual identity was completed in December 2011 and the new design and choice of colours has been received extremely positively by employees and customers alike.
