Exter Acquires Business to Business Aroma and HVP Activities from Heinz
The transfer fits in the strategy of both companies where Heinz` focus will be primary on the development of leading brands and Exter’s intention is to develop and produce savoury food ingredients to be sold to the food-, flavour- and seasoning industry.
27/03/09 Exter B.V. (Zaandam, The Netherlands) and H.J. Heinz B.V. (Zeist, The Netherlands) have reached agreement on the acquisition of the business to business Aroma and HVP activities by Exter. Exter will acquire both the commercial and the production activities. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Aroma and HVP products are being used as a characteristic food ingredient in soups, sauces, snacks and meals.
