Einstein Bros. Bagels Unveils New Pizza Bagels

03/04/07 Einstein Bros. Bagels offers guests a hole new experience with its Cheese, Cheesy Garlic Herb, Spinach & Mushroom, Andouille Sausage and Pepperoni pizza bagels.

Denver area pizza lovers have a 'hole' lot to be excited about as Einstein Bros. Bagels cooks up new pizza bagels for its hometown customers. Part of New World Restaurant Group, Inc., the nation's largest operator of bagel bakeries and a leader in the quick casual segment of the restaurant industry, Einstein Bros. is now offering five Pizza Bagel flavors in 28 Front Range restaurants.

Feedback from a successful consumer taste panel showed that Einstein Bros. Pizza Bagels take flavor innovation to the next level, providing a new menu option that is perfect for lunch, an afternoon snack or even breakfast.

"We are always tossing around ideas for exciting new flavors, and this one led to us actually toss around the bagel dough," said Chad Thompson, senior director of research and development, New World Restaurant Group. "Our new Pizza Bagels are a delicious spin on flavors people already know and love. We're excited to give our friends and neighbors in the Denver community a sneak peek."

The five new Pizza Bagel flavors combine both classic and extraordinary tastes with Einstein Bros.' fresh baked bagels. Guests can choose their "crust" from over 20 award winning bagel flavors and find themselves enjoying a fresh, made to order pizza in less than four minutes. The hardest part will be deciding which of the five delicious offerings to try first.

*  Cheesy Garlic Herb -- Pizza enthusiasts bored with the same old choices might try the Cheesy Garlic Herb Pizza Bagel, Einstein Bros.'signature garlic herb shmear with a blend of six cheeses, including mozzarella, provolone, cheddar, asiago, parmesan and romano.

*  Andouille Sausage -- Guests looking for a meatier experience can enjoy the Cajun kick of Andouille sausage, cheese and tomato sauce.

*  Spinach & Mushroom -- Vegetarians will be wowed by the Spinach & Mushroom pizza bagel baked with sauteed spinach, mushrooms and cheese complimented by Einstein Bros.' signature garlic herb shmear.

*  Pepperoni & Cheese -- Pizza traditionalists looking for a quick flavor fix will find their pie in the sky with the classic Pepperoni or Cheese pizza bagels.
