In a letter to the European Commission, EFSA has indicated that the Panel, in its deliberations to date, would maintain the Tolerable Daily Intake (TDI) for BPA at 0.05 mg/kg bw per day, although some suggestion was made to convert the TDI to a temporary TDI.
