EAS Appoints Food Regulation Manager for Asia Office

6/8/2011 --- International food policy consultancy EAS this month appointed Cashmer Dirampaten as Food Regulation Manager to focus on existing and developing food regulation and its impact on the industry across Asia.

Ms Dirampaten joins EAS Asia from the Philippine office of a large food manufacturer where she worked as in-house counsel.

Her extensive experience in ensuring legal compliance, including that relating to regulations, and orders of governmental bodies and other regulatory agencies, and past experience managing the legislative department of a senator’s office will provide invaluable support across EAS as it expands its services in response to client demand.

Having worked closely for a number of years in the legislative branch of the Philippine government and in the legal department of a food manufacturer, she knows the workings of the decision-making bodies in the government extremely well and is familiar with how such decisions affect the food business sector.”

Ms Dirampaten holds a law degree from San Sebastian College Recoletos – Institute of Law in Manila and an AB Mass Communications from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. She is a member of the Philippine Bar.
