Dec 1 2011 --- D&W Fine Pack, a leader in the foodservice packaging industry, has launched its new Cruiser Bowl container and lid line. The Cruiser Bowl line is well-suited for a broad range of applications targeted for use in restaurant take-out and deli grab-and-go.
Designed with cost savings in mind, the bowls are available in 10 sizes for portion control and feature Power Seal lids to protect against leaks and spills. Two of the more popular size options are the 12 oz. bowl, available in tall or squat size, and the 8 oz. “car cup,” perfect for single-serve foods for the on-the-go consumer.
The Cruiser Bowl product line satisfies a variety of meal options in the marketplace. For use in hot or cold applications, they are also microwavable, reusable and top-rack dishwasher safe. The various product sizes were designed with a stackable feature, making them easy to transport and maximizing storage space. Clear lids are available in both vented and non-vented options.
D&W worked extensively with several of its customers to engineer the new product line to meet specific applications for daypart menuing. The wide range of product sizes and portable design make the bowls an ideal choice for operators looking to expand their menu options to focus on more one-stop meal planning and convenience. The Cruiser Bowl design is well suited for packaging healthier options, such as deli salads, soups, fresh-cut fruit and oatmeal, as well as comfort foods, such as mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese.
In addition to being reusable, the Cruiser Bowl line is made with D&W’s exclusive C-Green material, talc-filled polypropylene engineered to reduce the overall use of plastic resin while maintaining product integrity, quality and durability.
