D&W Fine Pack Acquires Thermoforming Division of Clear Lam Packaging, Inc.

The addition of Clear Lam significantly increases D&W’s presence in the retail grocery market segment.

15 May 2012 --- D&W Fine Pack LLC, a leader in the food packaging industry and a portfolio company of Mid Oaks Investments LLC, has announced the acquisition of the Thermoforming Division of Clear Lam Packaging, Inc., headquartered in Elk Grove Village, Ill.  

Since 1969, Clear Lam has been a leader in the packaging industry, providing innovative packaging solutions for use in bakery, prepared meals, confectionary, and produce applications.  The addition of Clear Lam significantly increases D&W’s presence in the retail grocery market segment. 

With facilities in Elk Grove Village, Ill., Vernon, Calif., and Nanjing, China, Clear Lam compliments D&W’s existing North American manufacturing asset footprint and adds a manufacturing plant in Asia, opening up opportunities for continued growth both in North America and the Pacific Rim.  This strategic acquisition brings D&W to sixteen manufacturing and warehousing facilities worldwide.
