DSWE launches Wave Imports Italian wine portfolio in the US
The Wave Imports portfolio will comprise wine producers formerly represented by Wine Wave as well as new acquisitions.
16/01/06 Domaine Select Wine Estates (DSWE) announces the launch of Wave Imports, an exclusively Italian wine portfolio which DSWE has absorbed as part of a strategic alliance with New York based The Charmer Sunbelt Group. The Wave Imports portfolio will comprise wine producers formerly represented by Wine Wave as well as new acquisitions. Wave Imports will operate from the recently expanded DSWE Manhattan headquarters, under the direction of DSWE President & Founder Paolo Domeneghetti. The Domeneghetti Family -- who now owns 100% of DSWE continues to oversee all divisions which include: Domaine Select Imports, Domaine Select Merchants and Wave Imports. Domaine Select Imports and Wave Imports respectively will use the wholesale distribution companies which are currently in place throughout the U.S.
Wave Imports, launched in January 2006 is an importer, sales and marketer specializing in exclusively Italian fine wines and spirits with emphasis on terroir, style & people. The portfolio includes: Fattoria Dei Barbi, Fontanafredda, Guicciardini Strozzi, Valdo and others.
Domaine Select Imports was created in order to represent wines from around the world which are of the highest quality and which express tremendous character particular to their origin.
