DSM Increases Prices for Several Vitamin Products

In particular, the price of all Vitamin B2 and B6 forms will increase by 15% effective immediately for all new business.

3/24/2011 --- Due to what it calls "sustained changes in market conditions," DSM Nutritional Products has announced a worldwide price increase of several products in its portfolio for use in both Animal and Human applications.

In particular, the price of all Vitamin B2 and B6 forms will increase by 15% effective immediately for all new business.  Additionally, all Vitamin E and A forms and Calpan will increase between 5-10% for all new orders.

This price adjustment is driven by a combination of the increased cost of securing raw material supply, inflation and exchange rate developments over the last months, the company reported.
