DSM Completes Acquisition of Romanian Premix Company

The acquisition was announced on 4 May 2011. It allows DSM to expand its global network of premix facilities and offers improved access to the growing Romanian livestock feed market.

Oct 13 2011 --- Royal DSM, the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences company, announces that it has completed the acquisition of Fatrom Furajeri Additivi, the leading premix manufacturer in Romania.

The acquisition was announced on 4 May 2011. It allows DSM to expand its global network of premix facilities and offers improved access to the growing Romanian livestock feed market. All assets and business activities of Fatrom in the field of production, marketing and selling of feed premixes and other feed additives have now been transferred to DSM Nutritional Products Romania S.R.L. Financial details of the acquisition will not be disclosed.
