6/6/2011 --- Doehler (Döhler), a global producer, marketer and provider of technology-based natural ingredients, ingredient systems and integrated solutions for the food and beverage industry, is implementing "Food Safety System Certification" (FSSC) 22000 at its production facilities. FSSC 22000 is globally acknowledged as the highest standard in food safety. The certification process, which includes multiple stages, has already been successfully completed at the headquarters in Darmstadt, the two Dutch production facilities in Roggel and Oosterhout, and the Turkish production facility in Akkent.
FSSC 22000 is fundamentally based on ISO 22000 and PAS 220. Every day, millions of people across the world consume products which contain ingredients from Doehler. The company is conscious of the great responsibility this entails, and guarantees the highest level of food safety. This FSSC 22000 certification makes Doehler one of the leading companies in the food sector with regard to quality and safety. The company is already working on implementing FSSC 22000 in further locations, such as Brazil, India and China, this year.
