08/06/07 Diamant Film Inc. a division of Diamant Art Corporation, exclusive distributor with manufacturing rights in North America of the world's first plasticizer-free stretch film based on polystyrene and the first food stretch wrap film that is environmentally friendly and recyclable, announced today that the company has received a new order for 1.3 million feet of food stretch film.
Diamant film has received the ECO logo certified by the Environmental Choice Program. The Environmental Choice Program is North America's leading benchmark of environmentally responsible products and services. Diamant film has successfully met the criteria for both the environmental and performance standards.
The order is from a leading manufacturer and distributor of packaged meat products which are sold throughout the United States. Diamant's food film will be used to wrap the product in its entirety and will provide the customer with an environmentally friendly and recyclable alternative to other food wraps that contain vinyl chloride (PVC).
