DC Brands International Announces New Look Label for Its Functional Beverages
The new look package will be a full bottle shrink wrap label that allows enough real estate to comprehensively list all of the nutritional ingredients found both in the patented flip-top cap, and the beverage.
25 April 2012 --- DC Brands International, Inc., announces that it is repackaging its H.A.R.D. Nutrition Functional Water Systems with an all new look!
The new look package will be a full bottle shrink wrap label that allows enough real estate to comprehensively list all of the nutritional ingredients found both in the patented flip-top cap, and the beverage. The Company believes that by listing all of the nutritional ingredients in the H.A.R.D. Nutrition Functional Water Systems on the outside of the bottle, a more accurate and favorable nutritional value will be calculated and applied by retailers that practice such a grading system.
Richard Pearce, President and CEO said, “We are really excited to unveil this new incredible eye-catching full bottle label. We realized that our previous, revolutionary two-stage peel back label was actually creating an unfortunate problem for us, in that the nutritional values seem to be calculated by only assessing the ingredients that show on the outside of a label. Our unique problem was having such a large amount of natural vitamins, supplements, and minerals in our Functional Water Systems, and the peel back label seemed to be the best solution. This two-stage peel back label also served to meet FDA requirements. However, we have found that not only the consumer, but also the agencies calculating the nutritional values, simply would not peel back the label to get the entire view of the significant nutritional value of our product. It is this aspect of having so much nutritional value and all natural ingredients that has made us stand out in the crowded field of so called functional beverages.”
“Pearce continued, “This eye-popping label is just what I believe we need to grab the consumer’s attention when they see our product on the shelf, and it will meet the criteria of having all ingredients easily listed on the label. Additionally, with this new look labeling we are introducing our new mascot, Professor Nutrition, and his tag line of “accomplish your mission with H.A.R.D. Nutrition.” Professor Nutrition will help us explain the nine separate functions in such a way that the consumer will immediately know what to expect from each of our Functional Water Systems.”
Pearce added, “We have field tested the new label with several industry experts, and potential retailers, and are incredibly encouraged by the reactions and responses. I fully anticipate that we will get the attention of major retailers and potentially expand our sales.”
