David Michael to Present Cool Flavor Concepts at IFT

DM’s salt replacers allow up to a 30% reduction of sodium, but deliver the same amount of flavor impact depending on the application.

2 Jul 2010 --- David Michael will present a number of cool flavor concepts at IFT 2010 to show what’s new in the world of flavor trends.

The company will sample tasty Turkey Burger Sliders. Because they are made with David Michael’s salt replacers, these burgers boast a 20% reduction in salt. DM’s salt replacers allow up to a 30% reduction of sodium, but deliver the same amount of flavor impact depending on the application.

Wash it all down with our cool Cocoa-Mate Milkshake. By using Cocoa-Mate, a 30% reduction in cocoa was achieved. Depending on the application, Cocoa-Mate is functionally capable of replacing up to 40% percent of the cocoa powder used in a finished product.
