Danisco's December Ice Cream with Gingerbread Dough

This month, Danisco's Ice Cream Frozen Desserts innovation department has developed an ice cream with gingerbread dough.
20/12/06 Seasonal products and limited editions have become very trendy in the ice cream industry over the last couple of years. The idea is to boost the ice cream sale outside the typical ice cream season.
Christmas is a very low season for ice cream even though this time of year is flooded with indulgence in so many other respects. To exploit this we have created a creamy, indulgent ice cream flavoured with warm spices: cinnamon, cloves and honey. Chunky pieces of gingerbread dough have been added for that touch of Grandma’s home-baked Christmas cookies.
