Crest Flavors Announces Completion of Manufacturing Transition to Illinois
Part of the strategy for the move involved upgrades of new equipment. “We are pleased to have completed this major part of the Crest animal feed flavors strategy”, says Don Thorp, President of Premium Ingredients International.
Aug 6 2010 --- Crest Flavors, a Premium Ingredients International (PII) brand, officially announced that manufacturing has moved from the previous facility in Grandview, Missouri to Carol Stream, Illinois. PII purchased Crest Flavors Inc. at the end of 2009 and promptly began the process of moving all animal feed flavor production to Illinois.
Part of the strategy for the move involved upgrades of new equipment. “We are pleased to have completed this major part of the Crest animal feed flavors strategy”, says Don Thorp, President of Premium Ingredients International. “With a larger manufacturing facility and technology personnel familiar with the livestock and pet food industry, we are on-target to achieve the Crest Flavors growth strategy”.
The purchase of Crest Flavors expands PII’s presence in the ever growing animal feed and pet food industries. “The purchasing and distribution power of PII provides an optimal cost basis for producing animal feed flavor products”, said Donnie Moran, Sales & Marketing Manager for Crest Flavors. “Our livestock and pet food industry has a long history of flavoring and palatability product use. Now manufacturing up-grades will provide high quality product at the best cost as a real strategy for our customers.
