Three potential brand names for the product have already been drawn up and registered – Coca-Cola Blak, Makkio and Maquio.
19/04/05 Coca Cola is developing a new coffee flavored variant of its flagship product. Three potential brand names for the product have already been drawn up and registered – Coca-Cola Blak, Makkio and Maquio. The new drink, which can be consumed at room temperature or heated in a microwave could be available on the US and European markets by next year.
Coca-Cola’s Georgia Coffee brand has been a major success in Japan, but European consumers have tended to opt for hot coffee from cafes, in the case of coffee products. Reports of the new launch come as Coke prepare for the market launch of no calorie drink Coke Zero, following the disappointing success of mid-calorie C2 last year.
