Cognis Nutrition & Health Announces Price Increases in North America
The new pricing applies to Covitol natural-source vitamin E, Covi-ox natural mixed tocopherols and Cognis’ industry-leading non-GM, IP-certified forms of these two product groups, as well as Vegapure plant sterols and sterol esters.
23/05/08 Cognis announced the first price increase in over six years for its natural-source vitamin E and natural plant sterol products. The price increases are effective in June for its North American customers.
The new pricing applies to Covitol natural-source vitamin E, Covi-ox natural mixed tocopherols and Cognis’ industry-leading non-GM, IP-certified forms of these two product groups, as well as Vegapure plant sterols and sterol esters.
“The rapid escalation in raw material costs plus the steady increase in energy, transportation and packaging costs have reached a point that we can no longer maintain current prices,” said Dave Eckert, Vice President North America, Cognis Nutrition & Health.
