This sleek packaging, unique in the Polish market, is intended to attract consumers’ attention and therefore help the producer to better position the brand in the market.
13 Jun 2012 --- A sleek can of 250 ml is making its debut on the Polish market. It is produced for Coca-Cola HBC Polska by Ball Packaging Europe as a response to growing consumer needs related to comfort and a dynamic lifestyle. The graphic design revolves around an image of footballer Robert Lewandowski and refers to Euro 2012. The new Coca-Cola can was launched on the market in May.
"’Trendy and stylish’, ‘elegant’, ‘modern’ are just a few of the spontaneous opinions on the shape of the new, non-standard packaging given by consumers during a survey. The can is easy to store, convenient to transport and can be easily accommodated in a handbag, a laptop bag or even a pocket. The new can draws attention instantly while its sleek shape reflects the latest trends focused on providing convenient and visually attractive packaging. The new packaging is targeted at a dynamic and demanding group of consumers who are on the lookout for market novelties. They not only follow trends but they set their own ones,” said Tomasz Janowski from Ball Packaging Europe Radomsko.
This sleek packaging, unique in the Polish market, is intended to attract consumers’ attention and therefore help the producer to better position the brand in the market. The sleek can of 250 ml is almost as high as a standard 330 ml can but noticeably smaller in diameter. This contributes to the new product’s convenience and makes it look considerably smaller. The production process relies on the white primer technology ensuring exceptional color saturation. Coca-Cola packaged in the sleek can of 250 ml made its market debut in May 2012.
