“The idea has been internally discussed. Christian Lacroix has chosen a design that can be industrially produced” explains Michaël Aïdan, Evian’s marketing manager.
29/11/2007 Since 1992, Evian has produced a series of bottles in limited edition for New Year’s Eve celebrations but this year is the first time that an important brand is responsible for designing it. Intending to revive the collector’s effect, Evian has asked the fashion designer Christian Lacroix to design the 2008 edition.
“The idea has been internally discussed. Christian Lacroix has chosen a design that can be industrially produced” explains Michaël Aïdan, Evian’s marketing manager.
Meanwhile, Lacroix has also designed an “haute couture” bottle, in a very limited edition. In order to express his creativity without any industrial boundaries, this bottle will be hand-made and will be sold at a price of EUR 5,000 per unit. The profits will be donated to charities.
