Chesapeake Packaging Forms New Partnership
CPS has been a long-standing partner to Arenco/Packovation (formerly Sprinter) and has supplied its machines in the UK, Ireland and parts of mainland Europe for many years. This development is expected to have real benefits for our customers.
Jul 19 2011 --- Chesapeake Packaging Systems (CPS), part of Chesapeake and an innovative packaging machinery specialist, has recently formed a partnership with a leading French manufacturer of end-load carton and sleeving machines, Emballage Technologies (ET).
This new partnership, following the purchase of Arenco/Packovation by ET earlier this year, will allow CPS to offer its customers a broader range of machine systems. Nigel Redding, General Manager – CPS, said, “We are excited about this new agreement. CPS has been a long-standing partner to Arenco/Packovation (formerly Sprinter) and has supplied its machines in the UK, Ireland and parts of mainland Europe for many years. This development is expected to have real benefits for our customers.”
ET’s ability to offer Arenco’s top-loading systems has allowed it to offer a full range of equipment. All of ET’s machinery is currently benefiting from an investment programme which will ensure it employs the most up-to-date technologies.
Nigel Redding went on to say, “CPS recently supported ET on its stand at the Interpack exhibition and we plan to join forces again at the PPMA show at the NEC at the end of September. We will be at stand C76 and we look forward to meeting both existing and new customers.”
