Carlsberg Announces Plans to Close Pori Brewery in Finland

Production in Pori amounts to approximately 40 million litres of beer annually, which is around 10 percent of Sinebrychoff’s total production volume.
18/03/09 In order to maximise efficiency Carlsberg's Finnish brewery Sinebrychoff has announced that it will start negotiations with employees about plans to close down production in the brewery in Pori.
Production in Pori amounts to approximately 40 million litres of beer annually, which is around 10 percent of Sinebrychoff’s total production volume. The Pori brewery has 31 employees.
Sinebrychoff's main brewery is in Kerava.
Depending on the employee consultation process, the Pori brewery is planned to close in September 2009.
