Cape Ann Brewing Announces Winter Seasonal Release

01 Dec 2015 --- Gloucester, MA. — Winters are long and cold here on Cape Ann. But, with the bitter weather comes great surfing conditions! When the swell is up most of the crew of Cape Ann Brewing Company can be found dropping their shovels and brewers paddles in favor of a wet suit and their favorite board.

Calling themselves the “Bald Seagulls,” there are no weather conditions that will keep them out of the water in pursuit of waves and good times. Some might call it reckless, but the Bald Seagulls are New England to their core and as such they find the best in all seasons.

Bald Seagull Atlantic Pale Lager is the newest seasonal release from Cape Ann Brewing Company. It is a cold crisp offering that endures the harsh North Atlantic winter, from the first flurries to the last Nor’easter. Generously hopped with a 6.5% ABV, the Bald Seagull is a perfect complement to a well spent winter day or for sharing with friends as you wait for your set to roll in.

Beginning on December 1, 2015, Bald Seagull Atlantic Pale Lager will roll out throughout Massachusetts in 16oz cans and on draft. It is also the first seasonal release from Cape Ann Brewing Company to have never been released in bottles. It will be brewed and canned by several of the Bald Seagulls in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
