Campina appoints C.J.M. Gielen as CFO
At present, Gielen (47) is Senior Vice President/Corporate Officer at Sara Lee Corporation in the United States. Earlier, he held the position of Group CFO Branded Apparel at this organisation.
26/07/06 The Supervisory Board of Dutch dairy company Campina, one of Europe’s leading dairy organisations, has appointed Mr C.J.M. (Kees) Gielen as CFO to take effect from 1 January 2007. At present, Gielen (47) is Senior Vice President/Corporate Officer at Sara Lee Corporation in the United States. Earlier, he held the position of Group CFO Branded Apparel at this organisation. Gielen will join the Executive Board on 1 October 2006 and will succeed the present CFO S.J. (Simon) Quist on 1 January 2007, who, having reached retirement age, will leave Campina.
Kees Gielen has held positions at organisations such as Hero, Unilever, KPMG and Sara Lee. During his career at the latter organisation, he held a number of different senior positions in both the Netherlands and the United States.
