Caffeinated Sunflower Seeds Charge Into the Marketplace!
Research indicates Sumseeds appeals to a variety of consumers, especially those who engage in high-energy activities such as sports, technology, hunting, fishing and long-haul trucking.
22/02/07 Dakota Valley Products, Inc., a South Dakota manufacturer and supplier of food products, announces the introduction of "Sumseeds" -- a sunflower seed fortified with caffeine and other energy boosters.
Sumseeds are manufactured using a patent-pending process that infuses high quality, roasted sunflower seeds with the ingredients commonly found in popular "energy" drinks.
"Sumseeds is a true energy food," says Dakota Valley Products President, Tim Walter. "We start with the nutritional power of a natural sunflower seed -- natural protein, thiamine, vitamin E, iron, phosphorous, potassium and calcium. Then, we add the energy -- caffeine, taurine, lysine and ginseng. There is nothing like Sumseeds on the market today!"

Sumseeds are manufactured at Dakota Valley Product's manufacturing facility in Willow Lake, South Dakota -- a rural community, home to 266 residents. The patent-pending process insures that this small town will have a big role in producing this new, exciting product. "We're an ag state. We need to be creative in developing and marketing products that we can do better than anyone else," added Walter. "Silicon Valley has its technology, New York City has its commerce, the Dakotas has its expertise in food production."
Currently, Sumseeds is represented by Earth Seeds, LLC, an Ohio based food marketing group that specializes in natural soy and sunflower products.
