BURN Energy Drink Signs Folsom Distributing for St. Louis

02/01/08 BURN Energy Drink has signed Folsom Distributing to cover the greater St. Louis market. “We’ve watched BURN grow throughout our territory over the years,” said Jim Folsom, President of Folsom Distributing. “It’s not too often you have the opportunity to bring on a proven brand like BURN. We’re very excited to have it.”
The move is expected to open more accounts for BURN, including making it available in all area QuikTrip stores, adding to BURN’s already strong presence in the St. Louis and southern Illinois markets. Folsom’s territory for BURN encompasses the greater St. Louis area west to Columbia, MO. “
We’re only offering distribution opportunities in select areas, and the Midwest is an area that we’re really focusing on for 2008,” said Tyler Benedict, founder of BURN Energy Drink. “Folsom is a great addition to our team, and we look forward to working with them to build the BURN brand beyond its current success.”
On the market since 2002, BURN offers more vitamins and about 25% more caffeine than its main competitors. BURN’s sales in the Midwest region have grown consistently each year in chains like Fast Lane, MotoMart and CFM. BURN will be supported by in-market street teams, sampling and online / interactive advertising.
