Buisman Ingredients Acquires FSSC 22000 Certification
With this, Buisman Ingredients is the first caramelised sugar and caramel producer world wide who deliver its customers with high quality product, produced under this new and highly qualified food safety standard.
Nov 18 2011 --- During the course of this year, the Buisman Ingredients organisation has adapted all means to comply with the FSSC 22000 Food safety standards certification. This has led to a positive approval, after the final audit last month.
With this, Buisman Ingredients is the first caramelised sugar and caramel producer world wide who deliver its customers with high quality product, produced under this new and highly qualified food safety standard.
FSSC 22000 contains a complete certification scheme for Food Safety Systems based on existing standards for certification (ISO 22000, ISO 22003 and technical specifications for sector PRPs). The certification is accredited under the standard ISO guide 17021. The FSSC 22000 certification scheme has been given full recognition by the Global Food Safety Initiative Board of Directors. It was developed by BSI under sponsorship, through FoodDrinkEurope, of 4 multinational companies – Kraft, Danone, Unilever and Nestle. Currently, approximately 600 Food&Drink companies world wide are certified against FSSC 22000 and Buisman Ingredients is now one of them.
