01/12/2007 Clarifoil, producers of cellulose acetate films for labels, lamination and window cartons, are offering label producers looking for environmental solutions free technical advice following their films official accreditation under DIN EN 13432 and ASTM D 6400 biodegradability regulations.

The official accreditations apply to standard grade Clarifoil films typically used in labelling applications and includes ‘Signature’ films with branding etched in.

Clarifoil cellulose acetate films are made from woodpulp and are classed in the UK with paper and board for recovery and recycling purposes.

Produced in the UK, Clarifoil label, lamination and window film is approved.
