Beech-Nut Nutrition enters into the Canadian market

17/01/06 Beech-Nut Nutrition Corporation (Beech-Nut), long-time maker of the Beech-Nut brand prepared baby foods, has announced its entry into the Canadian marketplace.
Beech-Nut baby foods will be available immediately across Canada at all Loblaw Companies stores, including: Loblaws, Provigo, Atlantic Superstore, Real Canadian Superstore, Zehr's, No Frills, Your Independent Grocer, Maxi and Fortino's.
According to a recent Statistics Canada report, each year there are approximately 350,000 to 400,000 babies born in Canada and prepared baby foods are a key component to infant nutrition.
For the fifth year in a row, Beech-Nut won the Best Taste Award from the American Culinary ChefsBest(TM), competing against baby food brands across the United States. A panel of professional chefs selected Beech-Nut as the industry's best-tasting jarred baby food.
