09 Jan 2019 --- A new complex carbohydrate in barley has been discovered by researchers at the University of Adelaide's School of Agriculture, Food and Wine in Australia. The cereal polysaccharide is the first of its kind to be discovered in 30 years and possibly holds potential in food, medicine and cosmetics applications.
