We work closely with our customers to help create preferences for their brands and add value though unique features, decoration, shapes and colours. The strainer is the result of a close dialogue and cooperation with Arla Foods.”
Developing a winning solution
As an important player on the dairy market, Arla Foods constantly seeks new market opportunities. To exploit the potential for feta cheese in convenient servings, Arla Foods relaunched its feta-brand, Apetina.
An important part of the re-launch is the FRESH-NET concept. On request of Arla Foods and in order to bring greater attention to the benefits of the strainer, Superfos developed the improved strainer featuring a longer handle, which is better fastened to the pot and makes the strainer visible to the consumer.
Convenience is a key word
The feta is diced for easy use and the FRESH-NET-concept helps conserve the freshness of the product as remaining feta is stored in the salt water. This is an important brand benefit as freshness is a selling point.
Furthermore, the Superfos packaging solution is also an excellent pot for eye-catching shelve display, which differentiates the brand by being square. It is unique in this segment, the decoration is handsome and it is nice to touch and easy to handle.
