Arla Foods Ingredients Ready for Further Growth

3 Jun 2010 --- Arla Foods Ingredients is an independent company within the Arla Foods Group. Following the announcement in early May, the company has put a reinforced organisational structure in place to build on recent years’ impressive results.
“We can now pursue our growth ambitions with even more determination as we can focus solely on our own agenda using the dedicated resources we have appointed to meet our goals,” says Arla Foods Ingredients president Henrik Andersen.
Established business areas
The company will continue to work within its established business areas: Nutrition, Functional Milk Proteins, Bakery and Permeate & Lactose. Each one is strongly backed by the new application centre in Denmark.
Other key components of the organisation include the dedicated supply chain department, with integrated planning and quality functions, and R&D, where the focus is on innovative solutions and close interaction with the sales organisation.
Four staff functions
Four staff functions will support business excellence and growth: Finance, Human Resources, Marketing and Business Development. The directors of each of these functions are part of the Arla Foods Ingredients leadership team.
